Hybrid is an artist-run space that provides a platform for other artists and their narratives, facilitating an exchange that enriches our own artistic practice. We are a centre for the promotion of artistic practices, ideas, perspectives and aspirations of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour in Berlin.
We bring studio and gallery spaces together as interconnected, collaborative environments that are designed to support and empower artists, designers and cultural practitioners from BIPoC communities.

Urban Cosmos views cities as dynamic ecosystems shaped by culture, migration, infrastructure, and aspiration.

It explores how urban spaces carry memory, how diasporic communities create belonging across distance, and how Afrofuturist ideas can inspire new forms of architecture, mobility, and communal life.

This pillar treats the city as both a physical place and an imaginative realm — where new futures are continuously rehearsed.
